Our Story

Our story began with a father’s determination to create a delicious peanut-free treat for his children.

As a skilled home baker with a perennial sweet tooth, Andrew Caragan shared his love of sweets by baking delicious treats, especially his beloved peanut butter cookie. But when his youngest child developed a peanut allergy, he wanted to create a safe alternative so that all his children could enjoy his baked goods.

With decades of home-baking expertise, months invested in his home kitchen, and a dash of ingenuity, Andrew experimented tirelessly with peanut-free ingredients without compromising on flavor and texture. His children and his relatives at family parties were his taste testers. Word of his unique cookie creation spread throughout friends and family. And the Caragan Cookie was born.
